Another good sleep but woke to grey skies and a light rain no surprise it was in the forecast and it worked out perfectly because I intended for today to be a down day….I realized that I have been on the go since day one with lots of incredible hiking and tennis so a day off I think I deserved!
My host Sarah was at work so I cooked a lovely breakfast made some tea and turned on the TV and watched 4 hours of great tennis from New York…..
Did some trip planning as my departure date for the cruise is fast approaching!!
Then around 2pm the sun started to come out and I drove into down town Banff and walked around the shops and streets
and then down to the river and did the river walk…please join me!!!

Back in town I found an Irish pub and I bought a lamb stew dinner as a take out which I ate later and was delicious!!!

I enjoyed the rest and the little stroll and tonight it was some reading and planning the next two days.
Tomorrow is my last full day in Banff and I have a super long hike planned and then on Friday I start heading home but more on that later!!!!
