As I did not have Internet Sunday night and I did not want to do one big blog of two days so after you read this blog scroll down to the next one which is actually today’s Monday!!!!
I was up at 8am and on the road by 8.30am I knew that the place where I was staying tonight was in the middle of the Ice fields and that there was a store and restaurant there but the reviews I read all said the same thing very expensive and very poor…..so I stocked up a little before I left Jasper.
The drive was quiet
and I had planned where I intended to stop and this was the first hike
you know it has to be a great hike when a yellow arrow is showing you the way!!!
I had the trail to myself
Sit back and see the sights with me and then tell me this area is not on YOUR bucket list!!!
The next one is not upside down but a shot of the water!!!
This was the writing on the sign between the chairs!!!
I think you will agree a nice way to start a morning!!!

Back on the road
I arrived at the accommodation at 4pm but they would not let me into my room till 5pm so I took some time to walk around….
I went inside the store can you believe these prices!!! Not to mention quality!!!!
Well I finally got the key for the room
It is nice but certainly not worth the price I paid 160 dollars…the only reason is that there is nothing anywhere close and I needed to stay here so I can do the tour that I am doing at 10am tomorrow….so just a one off!!!!
Had a lovely turkey salad sandwich for dinner which I made myself not going to pay the 19 dollar priced hamburger!!!
Wrote this and now going to watch a movie!!!!
