Woke up to warm lovely sunshine and decided to hike to my favorite spot in the hills behind the big grocery store…I always enjoy the solitude of this hike and I saw the same horse that allowed me to pet him a couple of months ago….
After the hike I went to poker and had another good time and again won this time a good amount 270 pesos…..did some chores in town and then came home and got cleaned up and went back into town for my English class.
It was wonderful to see my students again and they all talked about their weekend, so interesting but especially Javier who works for the Immigration department and he told of his Sunday when he was stationed just outside of town and they did checks on identity papers on all the buses…….in 12 hours they arrested over 100 illegal immigrants…….he told us they are taken to México City where they are processed and then escorted back to the border of their own country…….
As they each told their stories the time went so fast so that I did not have time to tell them about my weekend… that will have to wait till Monday…we had time for a quick game of charades for chocolates…what a great class.
Relaxing with tea and there just happens to be a hockey game on TV…..
