Janet cooked me a special breakfast....
She also packed me up a good lunch as I was setting out on a long hike!!!!
I borrowed Malc's bus pass and caught the local bus to a spot where i was to start my hike.....now because it is my Birthday you lucky readers get another one of the now world famous Pearson escorted free tours as always tips are appreciated!!!

I had only walked about a mile when i came across this sign which i could not pass by!!!
It was not sunny a bit overcast and some spitting rain but not cold and my first waterfall.....not the height or the power of those i had seen in Iceland but still nice to see.

6 hours later I arrived back at the same bus stop that I started from and it was a really good day for me. I always use my hikes to do lots of thinking and of course today was no different....going over the past year and what lies ahead for me I think this year will be full of challenges, changes and great times and I get ready to embrace whatever comes my way starting of course with a little 550 mile walk across Spain!!!!
Back at home Janet and Malc had spoiled me with my favorite dessert Vanilla slice and a wonderful meal.
Not many camp grounds have bath tubs and i enjoyed a long soak before we settle down for scrabble!!!
