I joined Bob for tea and coffee at his favourite watering hole at…wait for it….7.15am!!!!!!!! After I got over the shock of being up that early it was fun to meet his buddies.
Came home and decided because the lake was so calm and inviting to take the canoe out for a whirl….Bob helping me launch!!!
I was out for about one hour and I really enjoyed myself!!!
I then cleaned myself up..
and the three of us went to the next little community for an afternoon show….it was held in a small Provincial Park
I saw a few pleasure craft go through the small lock and then the afternoon entertainment started!!
This group was very good and the next act was a Japanese drumming group and I saw them behind the tent and had to take this photo
but I understood why when they started..they put so much effort into each beat and they were very entertaining!!!
As you probably guessed it was a drumming concert so I wondered over to another tent and saw a workshop taking place…

It really was a great afternoon and a beautiful setting!!!
They look good!!!!
We had to leave by 4pm because we had to go to the local Church for a supper fund raiser!!!
Then we had to leave the supper to go another small community to see a live play…on the way had to stop for these…
The play was a good performance and well acted and we enjoyed the night…
So you can see this was not a day for lazing and reading and it was a great day thanks Doll and Bob!!!

Sounds like you're having a great time and good weather too! Here it rains off and on but you can't beat the temperatures.
