Friday 6th March… a day on the water..

Another early start for the fishing trip today.  The owner of the Park and a couple of his friends and son had invited me to go along with them, they obviously heard of my skills a couple of days ago.

This boat was much different to the panga I went in the other day, this was a 36 footer modern fishing boat with Captain and mate.IMG_4496

The captain was a very handsome Canadian man who was still bleary eyed.IMG_4507

Isaac, the real Captain, was calling the coast guard telling them this crazy man had over run his boat!!!

Please enjoy all these sunrise photos..  BECAUSEIMG_4500

THERE ARE NO FISH PHOTOS…with all this equipmentIMG_4498

none of us even had a strike, skunked, wash out  and there I was afraid of catching and not releasing.

The only little excitement came when the Captain stopped the boat in the middle of no where.  Apparently there was a problem with the engine loosing oil and he had no more oil on board.  So he had radioed another boat that came close

and dropped a buoy over board with a drum of oil attached.IMG_4515

They put the oil in the engine and away we went.  It was again nice to be out on the water all day with good friends and blue skies.

Hope everyone reading has a great weekend..
